Veronica Donato

Veronica Donato (A.K.A Ronnie) 82 years old of Greenwood Lake, New York passed away peacefully surrounded by her loved ones on Tuesday, September 17th, 2024. Ronnie was born in Jersey City, NJ February 10th, 1942. Born Veronica Wasyluk, she is the daughter of Isidore and Francis Wasyluk (both deceased) She had 9 siblings with one surviving sister, Carole Redfern of NJ. She was married to her late husband, Nicholas E. Donato of Bayonne, NJ. She is survived by her lifelong best friend and daughter, Tabatha and four other children, her 9 grandchildren, Robert Donatelli Jr. and his wife Dawn Donatelli, Nicholas Donatelli, Michael Donatelli (Deceased), Joshua and Faith Buckley, Nicholas Donato(3rd)(deceased), Khrstina Donato, John Donato, Billy Donato and her 4 great grandchildren Shelby Donatelli, Stella Luna Buckley, Johnny, Jr. and Serina Donato. She was pre-deceased and survived of many family and friends. She loved her parish, Holy Rosary Church of Greenwood Lake, NY and the dear friends she made there.

She also has wonderful friends from NJ that became her second family. Ronnie cared for many people throughout her life and always gave a helping hand and put others first, especially her family. She touched the lives of everyone she met and chances were if you met her, you had a friend for life. Her sense of humor and generosity up lifted everyone she came across. She was always on the move and her attitude towards life was living it her way, she surely took that mantra with her to heaven. She will be deeply missed, never forgotten, and always loved. ALL of our lives were enhanced because of her. May her memory live on.
