Thomas Coleman McDonald

Thomas Coleman (Tom) McDonald, age 63, recently of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, passed away unexpectedly from ongoing health issues at his place of residence in Myrtle Beach, SC on Friday, April 3, 2026.  Tom was born on March 31, 1963 in Greenville, South Carolina.  He was preceded in death by his parents, Marion P. McDonald, Sr. and Mary R. McDonald. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by two sisters, Joy Anderson and Tina Glassford.  His other sister, Mary Ann McDonald, passed away on the same day as Tom, in Spartanburg, South Carolina.  Their deaths were only a few hours apart.

Left to cherish his memory are his brother, Pat McDonald and sister-in-law, Robin, along with six nieces and nephews. Tom will also be greatly missed by his friends in Myrtle Beach. The family would like to express special appreciation to Joe, Colby, Delores and others for the love, care, and friendship they gave to Tom over the many years he resided there.

A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, April 13, 2026 at Woodlawn Memorial Park in Greenville, South Carolina. Mackey Mortuary is serving the family.
