Steven Allen Garland

Steven Allen Garland, 55, passed away at his home in Murrells Inlet, South Carolina, on March 4, 2026.

Steven was born on October 9, 1970, in Manassas, Virginia, to the late Donald M. Garland and Sharon H. Garland, who survives him.

Steven was a man who found great joy in the simple pleasures of life, especially being out on the water. He loved fishing and spending time on his boat, which was truly his happy place. Those moments brought him peace and happiness, and they are memories his loved ones will always cherish.

He is survived by his mother, Sharon H. Garland; his children, Steven A. Garland, Jr. and Kaitlynn Beatty; his brother, Brian Garland and his wife, Tina; and four beloved grandchildren. He also leaves behind many extended family members and friends who will remember him for his love of the water and the time they shared together.

Steven will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
