Stanley Berman, 88, of Myrtle Beach, SC passed away in hospice on May 20, 2025.

He was born and raised in Brooklyn, NY and worked most of his life as a type-setter and ad setter at the Sun Sentinal Newspaper in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.

Stanley was preceded in death by his parents, his granddaughter, Shannon; and his sisters Iris Landau and Beverly Starensky. Also, his loving wife Karen Berman.

Stanley is survived by his daughters, Laurie, Leah and Marci, and his son Arthur.

He was a loving grandfather to Ann-Marie, Amy, Nicholas, Ashley, Roger, Brittany and Bobby, as well as eight great-grandchildren. Also, many nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews, and great-great nieces and nephews.

Besides his love for his family, Stanley had a love of baseball, specifically the Brooklyn Dodgers; doing crossword puzzles and listening to music, especially Roger Miller, Hank Williams and Janis Joplin. He also had a great love of learning, officially earning his Bachelors of Arts degree at 61 years old.

Stanley will be missed by many and always remembered fondly.
