Sharon L. Lang died Monday (November 4, 2024) at Embrace Hospice House. Born March 9, 1952 in Olean, NY, she was the daughter of Robert “Bob” Clendenen and Beverly “Sue”
Clendenen.
Mrs. Lang was a graduate of Olean High School and St. Francis Hospital Nursing School. In 1972 she married Wilford (Bill) Lang. Mrs. Lang resided in Olean until 1991. In 1991 he moved to Myrtle Beach. She worked 28 years as a nurse.
Mrs. Lang was a member of the Christian Church in Myrtle Beach. In addition to enjoying her family and friends, she enjoyed reading, sewing, and cooking.
Surviving is her husband: Wilford (Bill) M. Lang; her children, a daughter: Melanie L. Lang of Myrtle Beach, and son: Shawn M. Lang of Charlotte, NC; one grandson, Kolton R Lang of Myrtle Beach; her mother: Beverly “Sue” Clendenen; three sisters: Patricia “Pat” Emerson of Rochester, NY, Cynthia “Cindy” Kieler of Bulls Gap, TN, Patti Altiere of LaGrange, GA; brothers: Richard “Richie” Knarr of Colorado Springs, CO and Daryl Clendenen of Maumee, OH; and many nieces, and nephews, great nieces, and great nephews. Mrs. Lang was predeceased by her father: Robert “Bob” Clendenen, and two brothers: David Karr and Robert “Bobby” Clendenen.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Human Society of Myrtle Beach or the Alzheimer’s’ Association.
