Shannon Adams Obituary

Shannon Marie Adams, affectionately known as Kika, passed away peacefully on May 28, 2025, in Conway, South Carolina, surrounded by her loving family. Born on February 17, 1970, in Fairbanks, Alaska, she graced this world with her presence for 55 years.

Kika was a beloved mother, sister, fiancé, and friend. She spent many years as a dedicated realtor in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, where she helped countless families find their dream homes. Her warm smile and genuine care for others left a lasting impression on everyone she met.

Kika enjoyed soaking up the sun during the summer months and found peace and happiness on boat rides. A lover of music, she often filled her days with the sounds of AC/DC and Led Zeppelin. Kika also enjoyed playing card games, where her competitive spirit and laughter were always present. Above all, she treasured spending time with her friends and family, creating memories that will be cherished forever.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Burt English and Sharon English. Kika leaves behind a loving family who will forever hold her memory close to their hearts: her fiancé, Joey Singleton; her children, Chelsea Adams (fiancé Jeff King), Katie Adams, and Dylan Adams; her brother, Shamus English and sister-in-law, Dawn English; and her ex-spouse David Adams.

A Celebration of Life will be held in her honor on Saturday, June 14th, 2025, from 12pm to 2pm at Bubba’s Fish Camp, located at 1565 21st Ave N, Myrtle Beach, SC 29578. Family and friends are invited to join us in remembering and celebrating the beautiful life of Shannon “Kika” Marie Adams.
