Roxanne Charlotte Lesus (Nee Allen)

March 7, 1954 - January 25, 2025

Roxanne was born in Fennville, MI and currently lived in Myrtle Beach, SC.  She lived most of her life in Melrose Park, IL but has also lived in Maywood, Bellwood and Berkeley, IL.  Roxanne has also resided in Coral Springs and Boca Raton, FL and Edgerton, WI.

Roxanne met her future husband when she was a Freshman in high school and he was a Junior at the Melrose Park Library. They went to different high schools but rode the same municipal bus.  Roxanne and Bill married on October 26, 1974 and recently celebrated 50 years of loving marriage.

Roxanne was the loving mother of sons Jason (Melina) and Timothy (Siobhan).  She was the daughter of the late Clarence and the late Edith Allen.  She was the sister of the late Russell Knutson (the late Juanita), the late Donald Allen (the late Ellen), Stephen Allen (Beverly), the late Fern Allen and the late Terrence Allen.  She loved her many nieces, nephews and cousins.  Roxanne was especially close with niece Laura Mangold, Kelly Truckenbrod, Steven Allen, the late Kristine Markowski, Tracy Hartz and Goddaughter Marlene Arredondo. Roxanne had many good friends and loved her pet Cavapoo, Maysi.  She met many new and good friends through the Carolina Forest Girl Friends group.  Roxanne worked for The Township of Proviso where she was the long time Deputy Tax Assessor
