Robert Punzul Obituary

In Loving Memory of Robert Punzul

June 29, 1963 - October 16, 2025

It is with much love and deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Robert Punzul, a devoted husband, loving father, cherished grandfather, and dear friend, who departed this life at the age of 62.

Born on June 29th in Okahandja, Namibia, Robert was a man of strength, compassion, and integrity who touched the lives of all who knew him. His kindness, selflessness, humor, and unwavering dedication to his family will be remembered always.

Throughout his life, he moved often, embracing each new home and community with an open heart and an adventurous spirit. From Namibia to South Africa, Germany to America, he built lasting friendships and carried with him the memories and lessons from every place he lived. No matter where he went, he made every place a home.

Robert was a devoted husband to Alison Punzul, his beloved partner in life and love for 40 years. Together they built a home filled with laughter, warmth, and happiness. As a father, he guided his children — Kelly, Talya, & Nirvana — with patience, wisdom, and unconditional love. As a grandfather, affectionately known as “Grandpa,” he brought endless joy to his grandchildren, sharing stories, laughter, and precious memories that will forever live in their hearts.

Robert excelled in his professional career as a leader in sales & marketing, earning the respect and admiration of his colleagues and friends. He found great joy in traveling, relaxing at the beach, and, above all, spending time with those he treasured the most.

He will be lovingly remembered and deeply missed by his wife, Alison; his children, Kelly, Talya, & Nirvana; his sons-in-law, Jordan & Ben; his grandchildren, Bryson, Jayce, & Ayvie; his mother, Maria; brothers, Raymond & Tino; sisters Cindy & Yolanda; brother-in-law,  Karl; and many other loving relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his father, Peter.

Robert’s legacy of love, laughter, and kindness will continue to inspire all who had the privilege of knowing him.
Though he may be gone from our sight, his spirit will live on forever in our hearts.
