Richard “Pete” Seibert

Richard “Pete” Seibert, age 76, passed away peacefully on Friday, December 6, 2024, at Grand Strand Medical Hospital in Myrtle Beach, SC. Pete was born on March 15, 1948, in Buffalo, NY, to the late Richard L. Seibert and Ethel Baty Seibert.

Pete was preceded in death by his brothers John (“Jake”), Eddie, Chuck, and his sisters Julie, Kathy, and Patty.

A proud member of the Bills Mafia, Pete was a lifelong fan of the Buffalo Bills. He loved golfing and was known for his impressive and powerful drives, often leaving his friends in awe. Later in life, he enjoyed the excitement of horse racing and the occasional trip to the casino.

Pete will be fondly remembered for his sharp wit, quick jokes, and infectious sense of humor. Music brought him joy, as did the companionship of his beloved dog, Otis. This year, Pete proudly celebrated becoming a great-grandfather, a role that filled him with immense happiness. He cherished traveling and doting on his grandchildren, who were the light of his life.

Pete often spoke with pride about the love story he shared with his wife, Donna. Their bond began in eighth grade, and their love grew stronger over the 56 happy married years they spent together. Friends and family were always struck by the deep love and compassion they had for one another.

A decorated U.S. Marine, Pete served his country honorably in Vietnam, earning multiple medals for his loyalty and dedication to his battalion. He was also a friend of Bill W. for over 50 years, a testament to his strength and perseverance.

Pete is survived by his loving wife, Donna Seibert; his daughter, Janine Little (Ken Pelletier); his son, Pete Seibert; his siblings, Barb (Ray) Stillwell, Larry (Judy) Seibert, and Rita (Pete) Golden; his grandchildren, Ernie (Hannah) Little, Pete (Loren) Seibert, and Mickayla Seibert; and his great-grandchild, Lucas Ernest Little.

Pete’s legacy of love, laughter, and unwavering devotion to family and friends will forever be remembered by all who knew him.
