Richard "Ricky" Jackson passed away on Thursday, November 14, 2024 at Grand Strand Medical Center. He was 56 years old.

A Celebration Of Life will be held at a later date.

Ricky was born on December 9, 1967 in Meridian, MS to Earnest Jackson and Carolyn Mae Robinson.

Ricky liked to hunt and fish. He was a hard worker and would do anything for his family and friends. He was a great storyteller and prankster, and will be greatly missed by everyone who knew him. 

Ricky is survived by his son Tyler Jackson of Meridian, MS, brother Ernest Jackson of Meridian, MS, sister Carla Belk of Meridian, MS, sister Teresa Cicala of Collinsville, MS, special sister in love, Kathleen Karr of Myrtle Beach, SC, and special cousin Shane Robinson of Myrtle Beach, SC and numerous nieces and nephews in MS.

Ricky is preceded in death by his parents, grandparents Melvin Lamar Robinson, Sr. and Clara Mae Robinson, Kermit and Eula Jackson and nephew Josh Belk and niece Ashley Belk and numerous aunts and uncles. 

The family would like to thank all the Doctors, Nurses, and staff at Grand Strand Medical Center and Agape Hospice for the care shown to Ricky. We truly appreciate you all.
