Phyllis Katheleen Pezikian

Phyllis Katheleen Pezikian,57, of Myrtle Beach, passed away at Grand Strand Medical Center on Thursday, January 15, 2026.

Phyllis was born on May 9, 1968, in Jamestown, New York, the cherished daughter of the late Wayne Meyer Sr. and Theresa Meyer. Phyllis was a homemaker, but not just for her husband and children, but for anybody who would pass through her home. Her love and kindness shined through every soul that had the pleasure of meeting her. Her warmth was something no person could replicate.

She is survived by her husband, Gary Pezikian Sr., her children, Gary Pezikian Jr., Grant Pezikian and Eve Pezikian. She is also survived by her siblings, Michael and Lindy Meyer, Paula Meyer and Dr. Gary Kipp, Patricia Meyer Hall and Michael Hall, Priscilla Meyer Brands and Ronald Brands, and Wayne Jr. and Lisa Meyer.

A service to honor Phyllis’s life will be held at Coastal Church First Baptist Myrtle Beach (Formerly known as First Baptist Church) on Tuesday, January 27th, 2026, at 2:00 pm. Friends and family are invited to join in celebrating her life.  Visitation will be held from 1:00pm till 2:00pm Tuesday  at the church.  Burial will follow at Ocean Woods Cemetery, directed by Myrtle Beach Funeral Home.

Phyllis’s passing has left an empty chasm in the hearts of everyone who knew and loved her, but her vibrant spirit and legacy of kindness will remain a guiding light for us all. She will be forever remembered and may she rest in eternal peace.
