Patricia Ann Shook

Patricia Ann Shook, 85, passed away peacefully with her loving family by her side on Monday, January 27th, 2025 while at her home in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. She was born on April 20th, 1939 in Joliet, Illinois to the late Donald James Cameron and Isabelle Talmadge Cameron.

Along with her parents, Patricia is reunited in passing with her beloved husband David Shook. They were married for 51 years before his passing in 2016. Patricia was the last of her siblings to pass. She had three brothers and two sisters.

Patricia was a kind and loving person who was as beautiful on the inside as she was on the out. She loved playing cards like 5 Crowns, Bunco and Rumicube and loved crocheting. The most important thing in life to her was her family. She had a heart of gold and lived life to the fullest and will be remembered for her warmth, generosity, and the undeniably loving spirit she brought into the world.

Patricia will be lovingly remembered by her children, Lisa Graves (Eddie) and David Shook. She has five grandchildren, Justin Graves, Cody Graves, Cassidy Graves, Cameron Shook and Mackenize Morge. She also leaves behind her four great-grandchildren and two on the way; as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins; a large, loving extended family and many supportive friends and neighbors.

A Celebration of Patricia’s life will be held on Saturday, February 1st, 2025 at 1:00pm at Myrtle Beach Funeral Home, 4505 US Highway 17 Bypass South Myrtle Beach, SC 29577. The family will gather to greet friends from 12:00pm until the time of the service. Burial will immediately follow the service at 2:30pm, with procession to Ocean Woods Memorial Cemetery, 2408 South Kings Highway Myrtle Beach, SC 29577.

Patricia’s loss is deeply felt by her immense family and all those who knew and loved her. Her memory will continue to live on and inspire strength, resilience, and generosity in those whose lives she touched.
