Olive Pearl Ackerman

Olive Pearl Ackerman, (Noel) age 82, passed away peacefully on Friday, November 8, 2024 at her granddaughter’s house in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. She was born in Harbor Grace, Newfoundland to Cyril Noel and Beatrice Peckham. She studied at Bishops College in Newfoundland. She married Frank Ackerman III in 1967, in Newfoundland. They had a son Peter Ackerman in 1970. She worked as a secretary and in a nursing home later in her life. Pearl lived her life to the fullest through simple pleasures; chatting with friends and family, watching sports, singing in the choir and to her family,  going to church and participating in Martha circle, and spending time with her family and friends. She is widowed by Frank Ackerman and mother of deceased son Peter Ackerman. She is survived by her Brother Clyde and Nina, Ray and Barbara and sister Daisy, granddaughter Jessica Ackerman and William Rice and great granddaughter great grandson Leia and Alex Rice, special daughter in law Chantele and Bob Vizzini.

Family, friends and others whose lives Pearl touched are invited to Centenary United Methodist Church at 1PM On Wednesday, November 13, 2024 to reminisce, grieve, support each other, and of course just chat.
