Michele James

In loving memory of Michele "Shell" James.  August 29, 1967-February 24, 2025.

Michele James, loving wife, devoted mother, charismatic aunt, dedicated sister, adoring grandmother, passed away on February 24, 2025 at Grand Strand Medical Center, surrounded by her beloved family.  Born on August 29, 1967, Michele's life was a true testament of unwavering love and kindness to everyone around her.

Michele is survived by her loving husband, Gary James, her cherished children, Michael Casey and husband Mark Feduchak, Ryan Kaupp and wife Colleen; beloved stepchildren Cheryllynn Steinheiser and husband Joseph, Gary James Jr. and Thomas Kaupp III; her treasured grandchildren Braeden, Kieran and Declan Steinheiser; sisters, Deborah Coyle and Patricia Lowe; God children, Heather Blacie and husband Robert and Peter Patrick Coyle III; nephew, Christopher Lowe.

Michele is predeceased by her beloved father and mother, Robert and Mary Casey.

Michele James was a beautiful soul who enjoyed spending time with family, rooting for the Phillies and Eagles, beach days and creating her next masterpiece in her craft room.  She had a radiant smile that could light up any room she entered, bringing joy to all who knew her.  She made everyone that was blessed enough to know her feel lucky to have her in their lives.  She was loving and kind to everyone she met, making a profound difference in their lives.  Michele touched so many lives and made those people fall in love with her.  Although Michele is gone, her memory will live in our hearts forever, inspiring us to live more fully.
