Linda (Hallquist) Libardi

Linda Jean Hallquist, 55, of Longs, South Carolina passed away in the early hours of September 20th, 2024. Linda was the final child born to Betty & Donald Hallquist Sr. in Hartford, Connecticut on March 17th, 1969. Linda graduated from East Hartford High School in 1987. She had various careers throughout her life but her true passion was caretaking. Linda looked after many older folks in her later years & was proud to have brought joy & laughter back into their lives. That is one thing she will always be remembered for—her laughter & the happiness that overflowed from her, despite the many hardships she faced in life. Linda was predeceased by her parents, two brothers, Douglas & Mark, & her eldest daughter, Jessica. She is survived by her youngest daughter Mariah, her other two brothers Donald Jr. & Scott, her sister-in-laws Marie & Kerin, her nephews & niece Matthew, Solange, & Zackary, along with two great nephews, Mateo Hallquist Brownlee & Finley Hallquist. She leaves behind a beloved extended family as well.

Linda’s memorial will be held on Saturday, October 19th at South Congregational Church, 1301 Forbes Street in East Hartford, Connecticut at 10:00AM. Her family will continue the celebration of life into the afternoon at P&F Pond, as weather permits, located next to Rentschler Field. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Linda’s surviving daughter to support her as she endures another tragic loss so early in life.
