Linda S. Bachman

Linda Bachman passed away peacefully at home with her loving family by her side on March 12, 2025.  She was 73 years old.  Linda was born in Hartford, CT to Albert Bernardi and Norma Landry (both deceased).   Linda is survived by her spouse of 53 years William Bachman, her children Jennifer (Bachman) Baldassarre and Michael Bachman, her twin sister Kathleen Bernardi, and brothers Stephen Bernardi and Paul Bernardi, and her 5 grandchildren.

Linda loved to spend time at the beach, play golf and attend the Country Music Fest in Myrtle Beach.  She enjoyed spending time with family and friends and very much loved not cooking.  She was a wonderful wife, mother, sister and friend but her very favorite thing was her grandchildren. She took her role of Grammy very seriously and adored her grandchildren - Olivia 20, Ben 18, Will 16, Kenzie 5 and Jase 3.

Throughout the course of her life she cultivated deep loving relationships, always offering a warm smile, a hug and words of encouragement.  Linda's grace shined through her actions everyday and made life better for those she encountered. 

A Celebration of Life will be held at the home of William Bachman on April 5th from 3:00 - 5:00 pm for local friends and family.  Linda will be buried at Jacksonville National Cemetery on Monday, April 14, 2025 at 11:00 am. Family and friends are invited. 

Her family asks that in lieu of flowers donations be made in her name to the Grand Strand Humane Society.
