Kenneth Mark Rotarius

Kenneth Rotarius, age 84, passed away December 29, 2024.

Ken was born December 05, 1940 in Detroit, Michigan. As children, Ken and Sandy were next-door neighbors. Later, Ken's family moved to California where he finished school and served one tour of duty in the Marine Corp.

Ken and Sandy were married December 1961 and enjoyed 63 happy years together. They had 2 children Christine (Michael) Grauman and Daniel (Denise) Rotarius. They also share 2 granddaughters Donna (Alex) Tavoularis and Katrianna Rotarius, plus 4 great-grandchildren Nicholas, Matthew, Fiona, and Charlotte Tavoularis.

While in California Ken was baptized as one of Jehovah’s Witnesses. He enjoyed many privileges of service including organizing and overseeing the food services for the circuit assemblies held at the Grand River Assembly Hall in the 1970s and 80s. He also served as an Elder and Ministerial Servant for many years.

Ken enjoyed camping, boating, and fishing. It is a love he passed on to his family. He loved talking about creation and the wonders of creation. Many happy memories revolve around these activities. Another love was technology. He loved helping the friends in the congregation with their devices.

His Memorial talk with be held on January 18th at 12:30pm on Zoom.
