Katherine Ann Tennihan ( Penney) a devoted mother, grandmother, and cherished follower of Jesus Christ. Kathy was called home to with be with Jesus on December 24th, 2025, at the age of 77. Born on January 25th, 1948, Malden, Massachusetts. She was predeceased by her parents Alfred Penney and Christena Ross Penney. Kathy lived a life filled with faith, love, and service to others.
Kathy was a faithful follower of Jesus Christ and devoted her life to telling everyone she met about the Life Changing Son of God that Died on a Cross for them. Kathy was a beacon of hope, faith, and love, always pouring herself out in helping those in need. Kathy was a Reliv Distributor, author, worldwide speaker, Evangelist, and a friend to so many. She was most importantly a humble servant of our Lord Jesus Christ the Lover of her soul.
A beloved mother of two, Kathy leaves behind her daughter, Kerri Christena Lemire and spouse Clifford along with her grandchildren Samantha, Joshua, and Travis Lemire. Her son Joseph Patrick Tennihan, his wife Adriana and grandchildren Eli and Ivy Tennihan. Kathy is also survived by her brother Richard Penny and niece Charlotte Osgood.
Kathy always shared the miraculous testimonies of her children and what the Lord had done in their family. She will be remembered by countless friends whose lives she touched with her gentle spirit, her heart of mercy, and unwavering faith. Kathy's strength in her faith came from learning to "praise and thank" Jesus particularly during difficult times. Her deep love for God was the foundation of her character and the guiding light for her family. She instilled in her children the values of love, compassion, and forgiveness, always encouraging them to put their trust in the Lord.
Her kindness, sense of humor, and infectious laughter will be profoundly missed by all who knew her. Kathy's unwavering faith and love for her family were evident until the very end. Kathy is now worshipping with Jesus the One she couldn't stop telling everyone about!
Kathy may be gone from our sight, but her Spirit is alive and home for all eternity! Kathy will certainly want you to experience the Love of Jesus the way she is now! Kathy's Life Bible verse showcases what a life Changed by Jesus Christ can produce , Hope ! Jeremiah 29:11 " For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans for welfare and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope. "
