Joyce Antionette Littlefield Hannon, age 85, passed away peacefully February 10, 2025, at NHC Healthcare, Garden City in Murrells Inlet, SC.
Joyce was born on December 21, 1939 in Yonkers, NY to the late Lawrence and Ursula Littlefield. In addition to her parents, Joyce was predeceased by her husband, Patrick Hannon and daughter, Deborah Jean Hannon.
Joyce attended Yonkers public schools, and was a graduate of Gorton High School. She then attended Berkley Business School and worked as an administrative assistant in Manhattan.
After marriage and three children, Joyce graduated Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science from Pace University in White Plains NY.
She relocated to Sunnyvale, CA in Silicon Valley where she worked for the Lockheed Martin Corporation.
Joyce was afflicted with a rare neurological condition - Narcolepsy/Cataplexy and was active in the American Narcolepsy Association (now the Narcolepsy Network) which was founded in Palo Alto, California. She was also predeceased by her loyal service dog, Maggie.

Joyce returned to NY to care for her elderly parents, and relocated once again ten years ago to live out her golden years at Covenant Towers in Myrtle Beach. She spent her last year at NHC Garden City.
Joyce is survived by her son, Kevin Hannon of Mount Vernon, NY: daughter Patti (Bob) Browne of Surfside Beach, SC : grandsons Sean (Crystal Colon) Hannon of Waterbury, CT Patrick (Olivia) Hannon of Kaneohe, HI Benjamin Hannon of Norwalk, CT and step-grandchildren Katie Browne of Yonkers, NY, Patti Anne (Kevin) Curtin (and baby Aine) of S Dennis, MA and Robert Browne of Delray Beach, FL.
Joyce is also survived by her two brothers, Lawrence (Carmella) Littlefield of Tulsa, OK and Raymond (Loretta, preceded in death) Littlefield of Lawrenceburg, KY - and many cousins (esp. Joan Pagano who was like a sister to her), nieces and nephews and friends including her best friend Karel Slies of Queens, NY and her loving caregiver Tilde Da Silva.
Burial will take place at St Mary’s Cemetery in Yonkers, NY at a future date.
