Joseph G. Vassalotti

Joseph G. Vassalotti, age 80, passed away, Saturday, January 4, 2025, at Conway Medical Center.

Joseph was born May 7, 1944, in Newton, MA., a son of Nicholas Louis Vassalotti, Sr., and Martha Elizabeth Brown Vassalotti.  Joseph was an avid gardener who loved to planting and growing items. In addition to his parents, Joseph is predeceased by his wife: Selma Vassalotti; brother: Robert Vassalotti; two grandchildren: Anthony Vassalotti and Brady Vassalotti; and one great-grandchild: J. Hamilton Jones.

Joseph is survived by his children: April Lee Lorey (Elijah), Clarissa Parizeau (Michael R.), Timothy Vassalotti (Sherry), Thomas Vassalotti, and Christina Sturgis (Isaac); grandchildren: Crystal Johnson, Alicia Jones, William Johnson, Arjun Rana, Kamal Rana, Brayden Lorey, and Madalynn Lorey; nine great-grandchildren; and one brother: Nicholas L. Vassalotti, II.

Graveside services will be held 2:00 PM Saturday, January 11, 2025, at Hillcrest Cemetery in Conway, directed by Myrtle Beach Funeral Home, 4505 Hwy 17 Bypass South, Myrtle Beach, SC. 29577.
