Jeannie Delores DeAngelo

Jeannie Delores DeAngelo, 75, passed away on May 14, 2025, at her home surrounded by her children. 

Jeannie was born on May 13, 1950 in Ridgway, PA, but spent much of her life by the ocean after relocating to North Myrtle Beach, SC.  She was an elementary school teacher for over 30 years. After her retirement, she spent her time painting and crafting, knitting blankets and hats for children, spending time on the beach in the evenings, and chasing her grandkids. She also spent a lot of time in her favorite place- the lido deck of a cruise ship as she sailed around the world. 

Her passions included helping others and her faith. Jeannie was an active member of Trinity United Methodist Church. She participated in the bell choir, Master’s Meal, and knitting prayer shawls. 

Jeannie is survived by her husband Dennis DeAngelo, her children Jantz DeAngelo and Katie (Kevin) Dyer, her two grandchildren Charlie Dyer and Carter Dyer, and her mother Janet Steis. 

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
