Jay Allin Girard, 63, of Conway, South Carolina, formally of Westbrook, Maine, passed away peacefully on December 10, 2025, at Conway Medical Center after a brief illness.
Jay was born to Linda and Albert Girard on January 16, 1962.
Jay grew up in Westbrook, graduating from Westbrook High School class of 1980.
Jay married his high school sweetheart, love of his life, and soulmate, Diane (Winship) Girard.
Jay enjoyed skiing, lobstering, golfing, playing darts, watching sports, spending time on Sebago Lake, and coaching his daughter in softball.
In his later years, Jay moved to South Carolina to enjoy the sunshine, warmth, and the beach.
Jay has always been a self-employed contractor; carrying a business in both Maine and South Carolina.
Jay will be remembered for his outgoing personality, vibrant soul, big heart, contagious laugh, and his great dance moves.
Jay is survived by his wife Diane, daughter Breanna, her husband Ryan Simoneau, son Jeremy, his husband, Charles McClellen, mother Linda, father and stepmother, Al and Carmen, sister, Gina. He also leaves behind nieces, nephews, extended family, and many friends.
Jay's favorites call him GRAMPY! He leaves behind 4 beautiful grandchildren: Ava, Emma, Owen, and Noah. Being a Grampy brought such joy to his life.
He will be deeply missed by so many!
