James Joseph Mabb

James Joseph Mabb, age 65, a loving father, brother, and grandfather passed away, June 17, 2025 in Myrtle Beach, SC.

James was born October 6, 1959 in Saratoga Springs, NY., a son of Phillip James and Shirley Ann Knowlton Mabb.  James was an avid hunter who loved to hunt especially bow hunting. He loved watching The LA Lakers, LA Rams, and the NY Yankees playing, he loved watching western movies, he loved cooking and especially having BBQ’s and special events with his family and friends.  James was a hard worker and a great handy man.  He was the handy man around the neighborhood and made sure he was there for anyone in a time of need.  James really loved his time working and time spent with his IATSE Local 592 in Saratoga Springs Crew.  If you knew Jim, you knew he could turn a frown upside down.  Being widely popular for his humor he was able to bring a smile and laughter to a lot of people.

James is survived by his children: Cody James Mabb, Samuel Mabb (Lauren), Jamie Mabb, Collin Mabb, and Brooke Mabb; Siblings: Phil Mabb (Sue), Mary Foster (Rod), Helen Mosher, and Bill Mabb; grandchildren: Jax Mabb, Cyrus Depan.
