James Harris Obituary

James Malcolm Harris, age 75, passed away, Sunday, September 22, 2024, at Grand Strand Medical Center.

James was born, October 14, 1948 in Sacramento, CA., a son of Malcolm Edward and Margaret Swanson Harris. James served his Country in the US Navy serving in the Vietnam War. James loved fly fishing, camping, hiking, and anything to do with the outdoors.

Surviving is his wife: Allison L. Harris; children: Laura Madeiros (Anthony), Alana Harrelson (Tim), Chelsea Enberg (Keith), and Peyton Harris (Sierra), 10 grandchildren; siblings: John Harris, Melanie Cohrs, Mary Frye, and Nancy Bass.

A Memorial Service will be held 2:00 PM Saturday, October 5, 2024, at Myrtle Beach Funeral Home, 4505 Hwy 17 Bypass South, Myrtle Beach, SC 29577. The family will greet friends after the service.
