Hurley Franklin Samuels (84)   Feb 15, 1940 - July 26,2024

Hurley F. Samuels  of Myrtle Beach, SC  died on July 26, 2024 after a long battle with cancer and a serious fall.  He passed at home surrounded by family.

Born to Jasper and Bessie H. Samuels in Fredericksburg, Va. He believed in hard work and retired from Dahlgren Navy Base in 1985. Hurley was a very devoted husband and father.

He is survived by his wife Erma, daughters: Donna (Ed Lee), Lori Hudson; grandchildren Meghan and Devon, and a host of nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by parents Jasper and Bessie Samuels, his wife of 58 years Annette H. Samuels, sisters: Evelyn Blackley, Lucille Boutchyard, Henrietta Snellings, Hazel Hall, Gwendolyn Dickinson and brother John.

Hurley will be remembered for his practicality, strong work ethics and humor. He touched many lives and will be missed.
