It is with great sadness the family of Heather Rene Davis announce her tragic and sudden passing on October 12,2025 at age 52 in her home in Myrtle Beach where she currently lived with her 2 daughters.
Anyone who had the privilege of knowing Heather knew how big her heart was. Many in the Lakes Region area have maybe gotten a haircut by her over the years or had a chance to know her through her work with the Farnum Sobriety House. She gave inspirational speeches about recovery and help to the homeless community in the Lakes Region area. Through her struggles she found peace in helping others overcome their demons.
Heather grew up mostly in the Sandwich, Meredith, Laconia, and Concord area but had just moved her and her daughters to Myrtle Beach South Carolina last December. Fulfilling the girls collective lifelong dream of living by the beach where the sun was always shining and the snow rarely came. A talented hairdresser she was, as well as an excellent bartender who could get anyone who sat in her barstool to share their life story. She had a warm heart that made people open up to her and she had an ability to except people for who they were and where they were at in life with no judgement.
Heather is survived by her mother and father Steven and Vicki Davis longtime residents of Sandwich, NH now of Brownfield Maine, her sister Gretchen Brown and family Douglas and Makya Brown of Brownfield Maine as well as her daughters Jordan Cilley and Jozie Horne of Myrtle Beach South Carolina.
There will be a Celebration of Life TBD in Meredith NH in the spring when her daughters can travel home. We will announce as soon as details are finalized so anyone who knew her and loved her can come gather with us all and celebrate the beautiful life she lived.
