Fernando Garcia Perkins Obituary

Fernando (Nando) Roberto Garcia Perkins , 17, of  Dillon , SC, passed away peacefully Monday, May 5 , 2025 he suffered from a heart disease. Born February 02, 2008, in Greensboro, NC, to parents Anna Maria Perkins of Dillon SC , and Fernando Garcia Hernandez of Michoacán, Mexico.

Nando enjoyed listening to music and writing his own and reciting it to anyone who wanted to hear, he loved going outside and walking taking nature in embracing the sun.

He loved his family and we loved him too he was an amazing uncle, brother, cousin and nephew . Once Nando got a song in his head everyone would know it Nando endured many struggles. But that didn't stop him from getting up and having a smile on his face. He had a big heart he was someone you could run to and he would listen even with everything he was carrying on his shoulders.

Nando had the brightest personality It was hard to be upset around him. One way or another he would get you to laugh at one of his many many jokes . He was so loving and loved watching shameless, he watched it so much I'm sure I'm not the only one stuck with the theme song in my head . Nando would sit down and he would listen.

Nando is at peace and that's all he ever wanted and he's got it. We prayed and prayed for the Lord to heal Nando and he answered just not In the way we wanted. The Lord took him home to be with him and our grandmother and we have to accept it.

Nando is loved and missed by so many. But we know he's in a better place so that is what keeps us going.

In addition to his parents, Fernando is survived by his sisters Rosalynda Guadalupe Garcia, Selena Marie Perkins of Dillon, SC, Carmela Elizabeth Gonzales of Highpoint, NC, his nieces  Amina and Natalie, his brother Jesus Reyes Perkins of Dillon, SC, Adrian Agundiz ( Marjelia Gomez), Adam and Abraham Agundiz of Reidsville, NC, and many more loving cousins, aunts and uncles.

He was predeceased by his grandma Reconda Beth P. Jerrell.

Fernando will be missed by so many we will always carry him in our hearts forever and always all we can do now is keep his memory alive while him and Reconda Beth Jerrell (nanny) watches over us.

I do want to give a Special thank u to Carmela Gonzales for helping me write this and to Myrtle Beach funeral home , located on 4505 Hwy 17 Bypass South, Myrtle Beach, SC for taking good care of Nando for us.
