Myrtle Beach, SC- Elaine (Lannie) Marie Bok, 84, passed away on February 4, 2025, at home surrounded by loved ones.
Lannie was born on August 31, 1940 in Watertown, NY to Andrew and Elizabeth Viscotha Bok.
Lannie graduated from Watertown High School in 1958. Elaine loved horses. She was also very musical and artistic. She played piano, harmonica and guitar. She also loved to sing. She was also extremely talented with woodwork and painting.
Lannie is survived by a very special friend, Jean Stoner; her daughters Valerie Pond, Christine (R.G.) Green, Suzanne (Spencer) O’Brian, Jennifer Evakich, and Pamela (Greg) Morgan; 12 grandchildren, and 21 great-grandchildren; one brother, Richard Bok, one sister Carol (Rick) Jennings, and one sister-in-law, Alvina Bok; and several nieces and nephews.
Along with her parents, Lannie was predeceased by three siblings, Andrew Bok, Joyce Blair and Betty Bok; one son-in-law Stephen Pond.
Though Lannie is gone, she will never be forgotten. Her memory and legacy will live on as we do, in our hearts, in our minds, and in our souls.
The family would like to thank the staff at Patriot Hospice for being so kind and caring during this difficult time.
There are no services planned for Lannie.
