Donna Santacroce Obituary

Donna Santacroce age 83, passed away peacefully Sunday December 1, 2024 at her new home in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, surrounded by family and loved ones. 

Donna was born June 25, 1941 in Rochester NY. a daughter of the late James Accaprio and Marie Marsco Accaprio in which they resided in Kanona N.Y.

Donna was preceded in death by the father to her children Sheldon " Shelly" Santacroce, her great granddaughter; Gracie Milan Whitacre, her two sons; Michael and Steven Santacroce, as well as her in laws Edward and Grace Santacroce and her cat Jack Santacroce of 17 years in which she loved all so very dearly and missed greatly. 

Donna was a very proud mother of 4 children and grandmother of 23 grandchildren, as well as many nieces and nephews, cousins, in laws. She was full of energy and a very hard worker, having many experiences, in retail, restaurant, grocery, as well as business asst./office work, and in her last years in NY worked at Steuben ARC dayhab team member. Then in 2000 moved to SC, made a new family working at Joe's Kitchen, always shared fond memories. 

 She loved going to all sporting events, she especially enjoyed in the most recent years watching her grandchildren’s games. Her love and being an all-around sports enthusiast was evident, as well as her number one teams. They   are the NY YANKEES and Buffalo Bills. She was loud and proud, overall stayed loyal to her teams. She also loved NASCAR, definitely a die-hard Kevin Harvick fan for years, attended many races, it was a family affair. 

She enjoyed many adventures, road trips, cruising, travel, and vacationing with her friends and family. Her senior center friend’s luncheons and outings, she enjoyed immensely. She made a new family when she moved to her community in Myrtle Beach and they were always playing cards, games, going to shows, shopping, dining, etc. that really gave her such great joy. 

Donna is survived by her son Roger (Julie) Santacroce and sons Brett(Tara/Bexleigh) Brady. Donna is also survived by her daughter Denise Santacroce and her daughter Connor Santacroce Berry.  She also has many grandchildren she requests to be listed. Michaels - Danielle Fand (Alex, Max, Carly), Alicia Anderson (Chad) and sons; Hunter and Michael.  Denee Potter (Wade) Angel Gracie Milan.  Stevens- wife Denise Scott Santacroce and their children / Grandchildren; Greg (Danielle) Santacroce and sons; Camryn Roczen, Kirsten Strickland (Chris) and daughters; Krysa, Ella, and Casondra Santacroce and children; Carter and Ava Grace. 

Donna was a woman of Faith and a true believer, a loyal friend, mother, grandmother, as well as a very kind person, that will be missed dearly by many.
