Christopher Lee Carwile Sr., age 41, passed away on March 26, 2016. He was born on May 1, 1974, in Lynchburg, Virginia, and later resided in Aynor, South Carolina.
Chris was the beloved son of Edward and Sandra Gail Callahan-Carwile. He was preceded in death by his loving parents and his sister, Jennifer Gail Carwile.
He is survived by his wife, Melissa Carwile, his sister Sarah Cathrine, and his children: Alyssa Morgen(Butler), Christopher Lee Jr., Jordan Gadsby, Devin Konley, Alex Gadsby, & Colleen Wunner. He also leaves behind many grandchildren who will carry on his memory & numerous cousins, other family members & friends who he cared for deeply.
Chris was a hardworking mechanic who could fix just about anything with wheels and an engine. He took great pride in his work and was known for his skill and dedication. Outside of work, his greatest passions were his family, anything involving Harley-Davidson motorcycles, and, as anyone who knew him would say, the Snap-on truck.
Those who knew Chris will remember him as a deeply loving man with a gentle and kind soul. Though he fought his own battles quietly, he always gave his love and support to those around him. His presence, laughter, and strength are missed tremendously by all who knew and loved him.
Chris’s memory will live on in the hearts of his family and friends forever.
