Charles "Charlie" Sedgewick Lewis III, passed away peacefully in his sleep, at his home in myrtle Beach, SC on June 18, 2026.
He was born October 17, 1964 from St. Louis, Missouri. He is survived by his wife Laura Lewis of 39 years from Myrtle beach, and his children. Brandy Lewis, Christopher Watkins, his wife Kristy Watkins, Jennifer Gatton and her husband Shannon Gatton, Kaylee and her husband Michael Poe. His granddaughters Rhiannon Davidson, Layla Gatton, and Arya Poe. As well as his sister Misti Lewis and several nieces and nephews.
Charlie was a Master plumber of 50+ years. He was employed by Owen's plumbing; Chris Owens, a very good friend of 20+yrs. Charlie was a skilled craftsman. He found joy picking up little projects around the house. He was committed to providing for his family.
He enjoyed his Harley rides with his family and many friends. Charlie loved all sports and was playfully competitive. He had a love for all animals, including his "Sadie" girl.
He loved being outdoors, whether he was fishing, on the boat, or just outside tending to the yard.
Charlie was a very dedicated husband/father/grandfather. Charlie will be truly missed by all of his family and friends.
In the words of his youngest daughter Kaylee, "We were truly Charlie's Angels."
A celebration of life will be announced at a later date.
