Carolyn McFayden Novak

Carolyn McFayden Novak, passed away on Wednesday, October 30th, 2024, at Angel Oak Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, in Myrtle Beach, SC.

Carol was born on April 10th, 1945 in Fayetteville, NC to Jimmy and Frances McFayden, who are now deceased. Also deceased is Carol’s sister Jimmie Ann Barefoot and her grandson Chuck Burton.

Carol leaves behind her loving husband of 7 years Lloyd Novak. Her daughters Terrie Bingaman (David), Robin Pavlosky (James) and Pam Burton. Stepdaughters Andrea Powell (Levi) and Jenny Paradis.  Her grandchildren Jimmy (Nikie) Bingaman, Christina (Jeremiah) Ryan, Tiffany Pavlosky, Justin Pavlosky, Spencer Powell, Caleb Paradis, Rowan Paradis. Her great-grandchildren Lauren Roose, Carolynn Jacob, Tucker Ryan, Bryce Bingaman and Nova Bingaman. Her brother-in-law Billy Barefoot, and nieces Leighann Longfellow, Jennifer Hannum and Renae Ramthum.

Carol grew up in Fayetteville, NC but spent a lot of her life in Charlotte, NC. She was the Regional Sales Manager for Revlon for 27 years. Carol moved to Myrtle Beach, SC after retiring in 2015. Carol loved crafts but most of all loved spending time with friends and family. She will be dearly missed by all.

A Memorial Service for Carol will be Friday, November 29th, 2024 at 02:00 PM at McFayden Family Cemetery in Fayetteville, NC. The address is 3660 Gillespie Street Fayetteville, NC 28306.
