Bonnie Stephenson Morgan of Little River, SC went peacefully to be with her Lord on May 05, 2026, following a long battle with Alzheimer's.
Bonnie was born in Smithfield, NC on April 12, 1949. She was the daughter of the late Ashley Douglas Stephenson and Frances Wood Stephenson. Bonnie is survived by her husband Charles of Little River, SC, one son, Scott Reeder, Wife Jennifer, granddaughter Darby McGee and Husband Dakota McGee of Smithfield, NC.
Two stepsons, Charles M. Morgan, Jr, wife Beth and their children Charles M. Morgan, III, wife Elizabeth, Ava Morgan Locklear and husband Kaden Locklear of Summerville, SC, Jonah Jackson of Summerfield, SC Bryan Morgan, wife Lauren, children Cole, Lila, Luke and Ella of Garner, NC.
Bonnie is also survived by sisters Glenda Hales of Wilmington, NC, Phyliss Mitchell of Smithfield, NC, and her brother Felton Stephenson, and wife Betty Stephenson of Ermo, SC. Bonnie loved her grandchildren very much and they called her "MeMe".
Bonnie was preceded in death by her brother Ronnie Stephenson and his wife Evenlyn Stephenson.
Bonnie was a graduate of Wilson's Mills High School and Hardbarger Junior College in Raleigh, NC. She was employed for many years by Eaton Corporation in Smithfield, NC before moving with her husband to Hampstead, NC and retired from Plantation Village in Wilmington, NC.
Upon retirement, she and her husband moved to Little River, SC to be closer to the sand on the beach. She loved walking on the beach especially the gorgeous ocean sunsets. Bonnie was an avid dancer, especially the Shag. She loved playing the piano, traveling, and watching college football and basketball. She was a lifelong NC State fan.
A cremation service will be conducted by Myrtle Beach Funeral Home & Crematory in Myrtle Beach and upon passing of her husband, Charles, their ashes will be interned in North Myrtle Beach Memorial Gardens in Little River, SC.
A private service will be conducted by the family TBD. Condolences may be sent to Charles Morgan, Sr, 4281 River Gate Lane Little River, SC 29566.
