Beverly Jean Boyson, 88, died peacefully at her home June 12, 2025, surrounded by family. Beverly was born Sept. 06, 1936, in Madison, Wisconsin, the daughter of Sadie and Edward Gilbert. She will be remembered as a loving daughter, sister, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and friend.
She grew up and lived in Madison where she met her future husband, Pat, marrying in 1969. Beverly at the age of 65, retired from Madison United Hospital Laundry, after 35 years of service. Living in Wisconsin, she enjoyed bowling, camping, and snowmobiling. In 2004, shortly after retiring, Beverly and Pat moved to Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, to be closer to family. There she enjoyed watching her grandchildren grow.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by sister, Donna Horsfall, and brothers, Edward and Eugene Gilbert, and great grandson, Spencer Grover. Surviving in addition to husband, Pat Boyson, are her daughter, Pamela McIntyre, of Myrtle Beach; her son, David Gilbert of Madison, Wisconsin; 3 grandchildren, Terri Pace, Brenda Harris, and Sean Gullickson; and 4 great grandchildren, Pat Grover, Devon Gullickson, Madison Harris, and Sean Gullickson Jr; one brother, Jerry Gilbert, and wife Sandy, of Madison, Wisconsin, and many nieces and nephews.
