Betty Sue Flannigan

Betty Sue Flannigan, age 80, passed away, July 7, 2025 at her residence surrounded by her loving family.

Betty was born March 2, 1945 in Kershaw County, SC., a daughter of Gilbert and Lethea Boone Stroud.  Betty was a faithful member of Kingsway Pentecostal Holiness Church, she loved reading her Bible, was a devoted mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and great great grandmother.  Betty was pre-deceased by a daughter: Brenda Marie Coates; six siblings: Shirley Faulkenberry, Peggy Williams, Tim Stroud, D.T. Stroud, Margaret Sims, and Effie Bowers.

Surviving are two children: Melinda Sue Mahaffey and Gary D. Flannigan; eight grandchildren, eleven great grandchildren, and three great great grandchildren; one sister: Terry Stroud.

Funeral Services will be held 11:00 AM Friday July 11, 2025 at Kingsway Pentecostal Holiness Church.  Burial will be in Ocean Woods Cemetery.  Directed by Myrtle Beach Funeral Home.
