Bailey Ward

Bailey Ward, age 62, passed away, March 19, 2025, with his family by his side after an illness.

Bailey was born, April 9, 1962, in Summit, NJ., a son of Joshua John Ward and Polly Lothman Ward.

Bailey or “Beetle” as his co-workers affectionately called him, relocated to Aylett, VA., after he married his wife Karen Ward.  After Karen’s death Bailey moved to South Carolina to reside with his family on the farm.  He lived on the farm for 3 years in the house on the “back 40”, enjoying the beautiful sunsets and the animals.

Most recently, Bailey was an over the road rigging driver for Pedowitz Machinery Movers.  He enjoyed driving across country with his faithful dog, Zoe.  When able Bailey enjoyed summers in VT at Camp Rich, riding motorcycles, camping, and fishing.  We love you Bailey and will miss you.

Bailey is survived by his sister: Donna Kidd and brother: Peter Ward.

Funeral Services will be private.
