Annelle (Evans) Martell
October 9, 1967 – September 19, 2025
In the early morning hours of September 19, 2025, Annelle (Evans) Martell went to be with the Lord. A larger-than-life presence with a boundless heart, Annelle leaves behind many broken-hearted loved ones, especially her devoted husband of nearly 33 years, Richard Martell; her beloved daughter Taylor (Martell) Shelby and son-in-law Ryan Shelby; and her cherished granddaughter, Charlotte, all of Tennessee.
Annelle was born on Cape Cod on October 9, 1967, to her parents Robert Evans and Paula (Chandler) Valencia, who both survive her.
Annelle had a remarkable ability to light up every room she entered. She made friends wherever she went and had a gift for truly connecting with others. Her love for the beach, her passion for travel, and her unforgettable, contagious laughter will be remembered by all who knew her.
She is deeply missed by her family, her sisters Sara Provos (Alex) and their son John, Carolyn Valencia and her children, Baily, Matthew, Barbara, and Jacqueline, her brother Robert Evans (Jr), and her stepson David Martell (Mariana). Her in-laws, Christine Clemmons (Jim) and Bill Martell (Judy). She will also greatly be missed by numerous other family members and dear friends. Annelle was preceded in death by her loving stepfather, Robert Valencia.
Her spirit, joy, and love will live on in the hearts of all who were lucky enough to know her.
A private ceremony will be held by the family in her memory. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly asks that donations be made to the American Diabetes Association, Multiple Sclerosis Society, and/or American Cancer Society.
