Andrea J. Nezich

It is with deep sadness we announce the passing of Andrea Nezich, of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina on May 7, 2025.

Andrea (or Oni, as she was affectionately referred to by close friends and family), was born in Trenton, Michigan. An affectionate and loving mother, it was always an experience with Andrea, never just an occurrence. From skiing to biking to early morning hockey practices, she was always up for it.

She grew up sailing with her beloved parents Jim and Hilda, and sister Mitzi, brother Bo, and had many fond memories with their friends (“aunts and uncles”). She loved climbing trees with her best friend Julie and generally seeking adventure where other people would never look.

She worked in various capacities in the title and life insurance business and worked tirelessly to raise two boys and teach them the same sense of adventure and wonderment, including some interesting escapades.

She found her new home in South Carolina, and found her friends, soon to be family in the “Village People,” and numerous friends from church, including her partner Peter. She loved the many projects that she and Peter attempted and completed together and their many, many laughs shared.

People often say it, but she was truly one of a kind and we hope she is getting work done on her treehouse up there, a lifelong dream that we know she will accomplish.

Andrea was predeceased by her parents James and Hilda Tascoff and sister Michelle Tascoff and leaves behind her brother Jeff Tascoff (Cindy), and sons, Justin (Jacquie) and Jeffrey.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, July 11th, 2025 at the Holy Lamb Lutheran Church - 2541 Forestbrook Road Myrtle Beach, SC 29588. Visitation will be from 10:00 am to 11:00 am, followed by a Memorial Service from 11:00 am to 11:45 am, with a luncheon to follow after the service.
